Despite one’s endeavours at times it’s tough to achieve what was desired. The immediate result of failure is feeling dejected, sad and dissatisfied which induces some to show discontent towards the Almighty. Some of them find every door closed because of the opportunities that they have lost while some may be at crossroads unaware and confused because of the dilemma that they find themselves in.
The Word of God says in Psalm 32:8- ‘I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you.’ However humongous your problem, confusion or frustration may be you have a much greater God than your situation who can reverse your situation within a blinking of an eye. Where your imagination ends there His mighty and marvellous works begin.
In the book of Exodus we read about the Israelites who had the horsemen of Pharaoh following them and ahead of them was the Red Sea. A situation where one would look behind and see defeat and on looking ahead there was destruction. A situation where even the leading intellects could fathom of no way to escape from such a dreadful moment. It was only God who departed the Red Sea and made the Israelites walk on the dry ground by His supernatural miracle. The ebb and flow of tides that they saw was silenced and to their amazement the same water stood as a wall on their right and left.
In Luke 18:27- Jesus replied, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.” It’s a privilege to be acquainted with the great and mighty works of such an awesome God. When you desire for good, God desires to give you the best but because human understanding is limited in comparison to His divine wisdom surely we have to just wait patiently for His unfathomable ways to be disclosed and definitely you will realise His ways to be best. Isaiah 43:19 says, ‘See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.’
